Park Home:
The Westonka Recreational Association is a group of various service organizations with representatives from the cities of Minnetrista, Mound, and St. Boni. It operates a park with four lighted softball fields and a baseball field, a playground with a picnic area and shelter, and a meeting room. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Local adult and youth ball teams use the fields. The Park hosts tournaments, and is available for other uses. You are invited to enjoy the Park and help out as a Park volunteer.
Mud Volleyball is back! Yes, it's been a few years since we were covered in mud but the Westonka Jaycees are bringing it back. The games are played with each side in mud pit using mostly normal rules. The teams will be Co-ed. Those interested can contact: byerschiro@yahoo.net See the Sponsers page for a little history about Mud Volleyball at the park. The WRA Park's Softball fields.

Past President Craig Wolfe thanks Mark Winter of Crow River Bank for sponsoring the baseball scoreboard.
Osprey Eagle and its nest at the park.
"The Osprey (Pandion haliaetus) is a medium large raptor which is a specialist fish-eater with a worldwide distribution. It is often known by other colloquial names such as fishhawk, seahawk or Fish Eagle. It is the only member of the genus Pandion, which is in turn the only genus in family Pandionidae.
The Osprey is 52-60cm (20.5-23.6 inches) long with a 152-167cm (5-5.5 feet) wingspan. It has white underparts and long, narrow wings with four "finger" feathers at the end of each, which give it a very distinctive appearance."
